Much of Rik Lee's work is tattoo designs for friends, but they are such amazing pieces of art they could be used in many other contexts. His delicate line quality gives it a really smooth, soft feel to the work. I spoke to Rik recently for the purpose of my context publication - and it was clear that he really believes that having an agent to promote his work means that he gets jobs that he maybe wouldn't have been able to get before - this is interesting to know, knowing that he could have just carried on doing tattoo designs for friends but having someone who believes in his work to promote it - he can get his work seen in other contexts.
