I really like the fact that the main media Katie uses appears to be watercolour - I assume she draws the work out in pencil first (if she does't, this makes it all the more impressive) but by using plants and flowers to make up the & sign, it makes it a piece of art on its own - it doesn't need to be used with other letters, but when it is used with other letters - it will stand out and again, be even more impressive.
