My context publication is titled 'handcrafted'. Handcrafted is defined as an art where the skilled use of your hands is needed - and in my opinion type treatments like these cannot be produced without using your hands in the first place for sketches etc. so I still see this sort of work as handcrafted.
All the work of Alex is amazingly executed, even down to this colour choices; pieces like the 'beautiful decay' one work really well with the colours he chose whereas the british airways numbers work perfect just in black.
