When I first started playing around with colour a little bit, I produced the piece below as I'd already mocked up an idea with red. Although it looked alright, I thought the pink background was too feminine to represent the college as a whole so, in orded to find more relevant colours - I picked some out of the college mosiac which is shown in the pdf. below.
At this moment, I have chosen to go with the dark blue/turquoise colour as it isn't too masculine or too feminine, its somewhat in the middle. I'm not sure whether the poster looks better with coloured or black type?
