Toy Story 3 - Alternate posters

Obviously the work below isn't for Toy Story, its for Up which is another Disney film, hence why I felt it was still relevant. This is a great example of how you can take the existing illustration/imagery for the film so that it is still identifyable with the film while at the same time, having a completely different style. In this instance, that 'different style' being quite vintage as apposed to the super clean, crisp animation of Pixar.

Below is another example of the work of Super Punch, this being my least favourite of the examples of their work I have posted. On the surface, at first glance I do like it but I don't really see how it relates to Toy Story 3. It is a beautiful image and nice how it has incorporated an image into a silhouette instead of having a flat colour but the silhouette of the child's profile doesn't look like Andy from Toy Story and the image makes it look like its related to dreams.
