Designed by Big Fish | Country: United Kingdom
It was surprisingly difficult to find much information on the Clipper designs by Big Fish but never-the-less, I really like them. The hand crafted type and imagery i.e. of a teapot or tea cup, gives it a homemade 'charm'. It is an example of packaging that you wouldn't mind leaving out of the cupboard!
Two Seasons Coffee
Barker Gray
"The brief was to create customer & consumer interest, awareness and ultimately trial of the newly developed Two Seasons coffee brand.
The brand has a unique proposition based around the two coffee harvests that happen globally each year, and the sourcing team search out the very best of these origin harvests for the Two Seasons brand.
Solution; We had the full support of the client team to break all the traditional codes of roast & ground coffee language (black, gold, heritage credentials etc) that persists in the many upmarket and boutique cafés in metropolitan Australia. We wanted to drive in the opposite direction of gourmet coffees overriding archetype...‘The Lover’. The result is a creative solution that plays to The Innocent and The Jester. "

The main thing I like about this coffee packaging is the fact that they have gone against the predictable coffee packaging i.e. the colours and 'established in...' etc. which is something they consciously wanted to do. The fact that they have done this will really make it stand out on the shelf which is something that new packaging should always strive to do.
Similar to the Clippers packaging, you wouldn't mind having this on display in the kitchen.
