I have been aware of 'Skinny Ships' for a while, and it seemed appropriate to reference it now as the typeface's and colour palette are once again, something that attracts me to this work.
In my design practice I hope to have a more hand rendered feel to some of it i.e. hand drawn type based on typefaces like the ones below (which looks like Bebas?) so the vectorised aspect of Skinny ships work is something that I don't think I will be focusing on.
