True Grit

Being inspired by some of the research I had done into western posters, I had quite a solid idea of the colours I was going to use and when it came to a texture I wanted some rough - therefore I used sandpaper, which was already quite a relevant colour.

I feel that by adding the red 'splat' it adds a certain something to the image - in my opinion, that poster is much more appealing than the other ones that don't have the 'splat'.
