The Kings Speech

One of my main inspirations for the posters for this film was the 'Keep calm and carry on' posters but I didn't want it to be too obvious, so I went for a grey 'cushioned' background.

Unfortunately, the more I played around with the contrast of the background and colour of the type, the more I realised it wasn't working.

So I went with a tried and tested direction - Red is clearly just a royal colour, and I think the pieces below work a lot better.
