Julien Vallee and Tim Dinter

Vallee's work is extremely well known now and the fact that I want to focus on tangible/hand crafted design for at least one of my briefs - it may well be a cliche to site him as an influence but his style of work has become so popular, I think its an inspiration for most people who want to work in this way.

The image below is my favourite out the examples I have chosen because it looks like the piece has been brought to life and communicates movement but it is ultimately a static piece.

The piece below is by Tim Dinter - I couldn't really get much information about it because the site was in a foreign language! What attracted me to this particular piece was once again, how a 2D, flat illustration has been brought to life.
